About the Role
Under general supervision, perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties in school buildings and care of grounds.
Responsibilities
- Use modern cleaning methods and maintain cleaning materials and equipment.
- Maintain school buildings in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
- Perform physical labor, including stretching, bending, standing, walking, climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
- Lift up to 100 lbs.
- Read, understand, and carry out oral and written directions.
- Maintain cooperative communications with students, the public, and fellow employees.
- Make minor repairs.
This position may incur occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens or chemicals.
Requirements
- Possess current Oregon operator's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some experience in custodial work.
Schedule
Second shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay
$20.81 - $26.25 per hour, in accordance with the negotiated Custodian salary schedule.
