Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $16.76 to $20.20, based on experience. Eligible for a performance bonus based on team performance and goal attainment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean and healthy environment to enhance the learning experience.
• Achieve proficient ratings on Facilities Rubric and Audit.
• Execute assigned work orders, completing 90% of campus projects within 48 hours.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks with attention to detail.
• Work with Facilities Manager on capital expenditure (CapEx) planning.
• Ensure safety compliance: complete SafeSchools training, use PPE, secure chemicals, and report unsafe situations.
• Manage custodial supplies and equipment efficiently to meet cost and energy usage goals.
• Maintain heavy equipment and keep accurate inventory logs.
• Demonstrate reliability through attendance, punctuality, and flexibility.
• Work collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and use good judgment to meet mission goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building/grounds maintenance.
• Proficiency in operating cleaning equipment and lifting heavy machinery.
• Skill in properly handling cleaning supplies.
