Custodian I - Night Shift

About the role

The Custodian is responsible for safely performing janitorial duties as assigned by management, providing quality service to customers at all times. The role requires knowledge and a willingness to learn all aspects of the job as it pertains to this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties safely and according to management instructions.
• Maintain quality service standards for customers continuously.
• Learn and apply all aspects of the custodial position as needed.

Requirements

• Understand oral and/or written instructions.
• Interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members.
• Meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
• Pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.

Physical Requirements

• Travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year, in various weather conditions; most work will be indoors.
• Work with cleaning chemicals and follow Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements.
• Regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Assist in lifting equipment and moving furniture; occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
