Custodian I - Night Shift

About the role

The Custodian is responsible for safely performing janitorial duties as assigned by management. Quality service is expected to be provided to customers at all times.

Responsibilities

• Understand oral and/or written instructions.
• Interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members.
• Pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.
• Work on the Night Shift.
• Travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions.
• Work with cleaning chemicals.
• Follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements.

Requirements

• Must understand oral and/or written instructions.
• Must interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.

Physical Requirements

• Bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to assist in lifting equipment and move furniture when necessary; occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Perform tasks involving bending, crouching, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching above head, lifting up to 40 pounds, and occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
