About the role

This position is a night/overnight shift. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining an orderly and clean facility.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas to include offices, meeting rooms, public areas, hallways, stairs, escalators, restrooms, and retail shops.
• Cleaning is defined to include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, hard floor maintenance, dusting, waxing, polishing office furniture and cleaning woodwork, empty trash, polish brass and office furniture.
• Utilizes assigned equipment and fills out work order forms detailing equipment and any other problems and any other conditions requiring maintenance.
• Cleaning outside of the Student Union including balconies, loading docks, entrances, parking garage, and garden terrace.
• Performs related duties as assigned and as the need arises.
• Might be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Custodian I - No experience required.
• Custodian II - Two years of related work experience.
• Custodian III - Four years of related work experience.

Qualifications

• High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
• High School/GED
• One year experience in housekeeping, floor cleaning, tile/carpet upkeep, and/or wood surface cleaning.

Pay

$14.00 - $18.00 Hourly

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 5:00pm-1:30am with occasional weekends.
