Responsibilities
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, and parking lots following safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and personal protective equipment to perform dusting, sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, and spot cleaning.
- Sanitize bathrooms, showers, electronic devices, windows, air conditioner ducts, and ceiling tiles.
- Empty waste receptacles and recycle bins, and manage recyclables collection and transport.
- Assist with room setup for events and perform minor maintenance and repair tasks.
- Identify and report facility issues to management promptly.
- Comply with company policies, safety standards, and OSHA regulations consistently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sanitation and facility cleaning, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and ability to apply them consistently.
- Proficiency in using cleaning products and equipment to maintain clean, sanitary, and safe environments.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and identify facility issues for timely reporting.
- Strong attention to detail with the capability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing work demands.
- Commitment to following company policies, safety procedures, and ethical standards in all duties.
Minimum qualifications: Custodial experience. Preferred qualifications: English or Spanish language skills, valid driver’s license.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday: 7am-3:30pm, 10am-6:30pm, 5pm-1:30am.
- Saturday through Wednesday: 7am-3:30pm, 10am-6:30pm, 5pm-1:30am.
- Wednesday through Sunday: 7am-3:30pm, 10am-6:30pm, 5pm-1:30am.
Schedules for this role may change based on business needs.
Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $14.00 - $21.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
