About the role

Provide custodial support across various campus areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Duties include cleaning and maintaining interior spaces, sanitizing, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and performing special set-ups for events. You will also handle minor repairs, operate cleaning equipment, and assist with outdoor tasks such as snow removal and debris pickup.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service buildings, including floors, carpets, kitchens, bathrooms, and windows.
• Move furniture and set up for events.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Understand and safely use cleaning chemicals, adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with outdoor duties like snow removal and debris clearance.
• Supervise student and community help during tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines and report maintenance needs.

Requirements

• Minimum six months relevant custodial or related experience.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and reaching.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of safety data sheets and chemical hazards.
• Responsible, punctual, and professional conduct.
• Must be a Colorado resident.

Pay & Schedule

This is a non-exempt position with overtime compensation or time off in lieu.
