About the role
The Town of Groton Department of Public Works is accepting applications for a full-time Custodian I position working 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine building cleaning duties for municipal buildings
- Conduct mowing and snow clearing as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to make basic math computations
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrated possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform custodial work
- Skill in use of hand and power cleaning tools
Physical demands
- Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
- Seldom lifting up to 100 pounds
Pay
$21.29 – $30.40 per hour (based on experience)
