CUSTODIAN I
Multiple positions available in San Luis Obispo County. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
About the role
The Custodian I (Safety) will be directed by the Custodian Supervisor I in General Services at the Department of State Hospitals – Atascadero (ASH).
Responsibilities
- Must have sufficient physical agility to perform assigned duties.
- Ensures the assigned areas meet Hospital Standards, Infection Control, Title 22 Licensing, Environmental Health, and the Joint Commission Standards.
- Interacts with patients and staff in a professional and respectful manner.
- Must be able to steer and control housekeeping equipment.
- Applies and demonstrates knowledge of correct methods in Therapeutic Strategies and Interventions (TSI).
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and secure environment through response to physical assaults, escape attempts or other major patient disturbance, and assist in the management of the conduct of the patients.
Requirements

Pay
$3,326.00 - $4,163.00 per month.
Schedule
12 Month Limited Term - Full Time, in-office.
