About the role

Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) is a facility service provider based in Honolulu, HI, established in 1957. We offer janitorial building services, mechanical engineering, HVAC, and maintenance services for various properties across Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island.

Responsibilities

- Clean common areas: Restrooms and both the interior and exterior of the facility. - Maintain cleanliness: Responsibilities include sweeping, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, using equipment, and wiping down surfaces. - Trash management: Remove and dispose of trash in designated areas. - Equipment use: Familiarity with pressure washers, leaf blowers, stand-behind, ride-on machines, trash compactors, and baler machines is preferred. - Location maintenance duties include: - Cleaning restrooms and storage spaces - Removing trash and replacing liners, ensuring proper disposal - Restocking supplies - Completing additional tasks as assigned by the HBM supervisor

Requirements

- Physical requirements: Candidates should be capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching (including overhead), grasping objects, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stooping, stretching, pressing, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting at least 20 pounds. - Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
