Custodian - Full-Time 2nd Shift - Mount Joy Campus

About the role

Lancaster County Career & Technology is in search of a detail-oriented, hard-working individual to fill our Full-Time 2nd Shift Custodian vacancy at the Mount Joy campus effective immediately. Responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment for all assigned areas.

Location: Mount Joy Campus, 432 Old Market Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552

Responsibilities

• Clean kitchen/culinary areas
• Clean classroom/lab areas
• Clean restrooms
• Clean floors
• Perform trash removal using a checklist
• Perform basic care of flowerbeds and sidewalks outside the building
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Custodian and/or supervisor

Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate and receive instruction
• Ability to operate a vehicle as well as all types of standard industrial cleaning equipment
• Consistent attendance
• Must lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have flexible schedule
• Clearances as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education including PA Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse, and FBI

Pay

Starting at $17.00 hourly, based on experience

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
