About the role
The Kent School District seeks a Custodian to support the educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of school buildings and grounds
- Perform custodial tasks such as cleaning, mopping, dusting, sweeping, and vacuuming
- Ensure proper operation of custodial equipment and facilities
- Assist with special events and emergency situations as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of custodial procedures and safety practices
Qualifications
- Experience in a custodial role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and ability to work independently
