Monday–Friday, 1 pm – 9:30 pm (Full‑Time)
Pay
$18 per hour
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors and wipe down surfaces such as desks, tables, and counters.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
- Restock restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels) and monitor facility supplies.
- Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor.
- Maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
- Provide courteous assistance to staff, visitors, and team members, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
- At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols.
- Must be able to work independently and interact courteously with others.
- Physical Requirements:
- Stand, walk, and move continuously throughout an entire shift on various surfaces; climb stairs and navigate multi‑floor facilities.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lb (unassisted); up to 35 lb infrequently.
- Push and maneuver loaded janitorial carts, trash receptacles, and supply carts weighing up to 25 lb frequently; up to 35 lb infrequently.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and overhead reaching up to 8 ft using a step stool or ladder; repeated twisting and arm/shoulder extension while cleaning.
- Grip, squeeze, and manipulate cleaning tools, spray bottles, brooms, mops, and equipment controls repeatedly; manual dexterity to operate floor buffers, auto scrubbers, wet/dry vacuums, and steam cleaners.
- Identify areas requiring cleaning, inspect surfaces for soil and residue, read product labels and safety data sheets (SDS), and distinguish colors for waste sorting.
- Work in varying temperatures, outdoor areas, high‑humidity spaces (restrooms, kitchens), and tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, odors, and allergens while following PPE and safety protocols.
- Maintain consistent physical output throughout the shift with standard rest breaks.
