Custodian - Evening

About the role

The Parkway School District is seeking an experienced and dedicated Custodian to join our team. We are committed to providing a clean, healthy, and safe work environment for all students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors by vacuuming, wet mopping, and cleaning
• Stock bathrooms and extract various floor surfaces
• Empty and dispose of trash
• Dust and mop
• Move furniture and miscellaneous equipment as needed

Qualifications

• Proven stable employment history and excellent attendance record
• Willingness to follow written, verbal, and demonstrated instructions
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work harmoniously with teachers and staff
• Demonstrated customer service orientation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders up to 8 feet
• Ability to understand and communicate in English for basic job-related duties and safety responses
