About the role
Dawson County High School is seeking a Part Time Custodian to assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
- Empty trash and restock supplies
- Set up and take down spaces, furniture, and equipment for school activities and events
- Perform minor repairs and report maintenance needs
- Maintain school grounds and outdoor areas
- Respond to spills and unexpected clean-up needs
- Secure the building at the end of shifts
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail and time management
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay active throughout shifts
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods (experience a plus, not required)
