Custodian - Days

Expected pay range: $16.50 - $17.75 per hour, non-exempt. This role may qualify for supplemental compensation in the form of bonus and incentive programs, contingent upon achieving pre-established individual and company performance metrics. Benefits eligible.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of offices, restrooms, break areas, locker rooms, hand wash stations, warehouse spaces, and other common areas throughout the facility.
• Sweep, mop, remove debris, clean spills, sanitize surfaces, wash windows, and perform routine housekeeping tasks according to established schedules and procedures.
• Support food safety, quality, and audit requirements by completing supplemental cleaning and sanitation activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate cleaning records and logs while ensuring cleaning tasks are completed according to company standards.
• Monitor and replenish sanitation and restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other consumables.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals, identify workplace hazards, follow safety protocols, and help maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required; 3–6 months of janitorial, custodial, or sanitation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and janitorial practices, cleaning methods, and safety procedures.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while adapting to changing priorities.
• Sound judgment, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.

Work Environment

• A full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with Saturdays as needed. Schedule subject to change based on business needs.
