Custodian (Day time)

About the role

We're looking for a dependable Day Porter to keep our facility clean and well-maintained throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, basic building maintenance
• Complete work orders for repairs such as fixing doors/handles, replacing hardware, and changing light bulbs
• Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify and report maintenance issues
• Clean and maintain lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and common areas throughout the shift
• Restock supplies (paper products, soap, liners) and flag low inventory to supervisor
• Respond to maintenance & cleaning requests in a timely manner
• Remove trash and recycling on a regular schedule
• Assist with room setup and breakdown for meetings or events as needed

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Prior janitorial or facilities experience preferred but not required
