Custodian

Responsibilities Ensure the assigned building is clean and orderlyEmpty and clean trash and recycling receptacles Use forklift to remove large items from facilityCall and schedule removal of trash, cardboard, and metal recycling Clean, sanitize, and supply bathroomsClean and service custodial equipment as neededReport any safety, sanitary, or fire hazards to the appropriate departmentAbility and willingness to perform duties on the production line when needed Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredPrevious custodial and grounds experience preferredAbility to understand and follow verbal and written instructionsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsComfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing maintenance tasksPossess working knowledge of the methods, technique, and materials used in custodial workAbility to operate a forkliftFamiliar with operating, caring for, and storing custodial equipment and supplies Schedule Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:45pm
