About the role

Maintain appropriate sanitation levels in and around company facilities while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum hallways, stairs, breakrooms and office spaces
• Wash and sweep inside facility and pick up discarded trash
• Perform general maintenance of entire facility including warehouse and freezer
• Remove ice and pick up pieces of pallets
• Keep grounds clean and free of debris
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are in good working condition, locked up correctly after use, and stock levels are maintained by taking routine stock checks
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Requirements

• Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and pallet jacks
• Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals
• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 °F/−25 °C in cold storage sites or up to 100 °F/37 °C in dry storage sites while wearing company‑provided PPE and freezer gear
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lb/9 kg (weight may be higher depending on facility)
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Comfortable with various noise levels, which can be loud at times
