Custodian
Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Custodian at JC Elementary School is to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the school grounds and facilities. This includes sweeping, mopping, and cleaning classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and other common areas. The position also involves ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in good working condition and reporting any necessary repairs to maintenance staff.
About the Role
This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety guidelines. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Previous experience in custodial work is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of school grounds and facilities
- Sweep, mop, and clean classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and other common areas

Requirements
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

Pay
Salary range: $25,000 - $30,000 per year
Schedule
Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
