Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
• Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, and moving furniture and equipment
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Use proper PPE where required
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security systems as required
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and teamwork
• Be in uniform, dependable, and punctual
• Show respect and understanding for co-workers and customers
• Communicate in English

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus
• Ability to be flexible, work at a fast pace, and multitask
• Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching (overhead and forward)
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs
• Ability to read cleaning instructions
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses
