Responsibilities
- Maintain a cleaning schedule that includes:
- Cleaning floors (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, buffing, waxing, etc.)
- Cleaning chalkboards, wastebaskets, windows, doors, furniture, and equipment
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
- Keep school building and grounds neat and clean, including sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and play areas
- Comply with local laws and procedures for storage and disposal of trash
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and request additional supplies as needed
- Perform minor repairs and building/grounds maintenance
Skills
- Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building/grounds maintenance
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment
- Proper handling of cleaning supplies
Pay
Annual salary range: $23,699.00 – $27,821.00
