Custodian

About the Role
We’re hiring Custodians to help keep things clean and running smoothly. No prior experience is required—we’ll train you and ensure you feel confident every step of the way.
A typical day includes:
- Checking in with your supervisor and teammates to review the cleaning plan.
- Gathering cleaning supplies (mops, brooms, vacuums, disinfectants, etc.).
- Maintaining assigned areas by:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Taking out trash and replacing liners.
- Cleaning restrooms, refilling supplies, and wiping down surfaces (tables, chairs, doors, etc.).
- Dusting furniture, shelves, and vents.
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
- Conducting a final walkthrough to ensure cleanliness.
- Returning tools and supplies to storage.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn new tasks.
- Ability to work well with teammates and supervisors.
- Friendly, can-do attitude.
- Ability to stay focused and give your best effort.
- Valid RealID.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.
Physical & Environmental Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching to clean and maintain areas.
- Repetitive motions such as mopping, sweeping, wiping, and scrubbing.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25-30 pounds regularly.
- Navigating stairs, ramps, or uneven flooring while carrying tools or supplies.
- Primarily indoor work in commercial buildings with varying temperatures and lighting.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and solvents (training and PPE provided).
- Possible exposure to dust, dirt, allergens, biohazardous materials, or bodily fluids (safety protocols and PPE in place).
- Working in confined or awkward spaces (e.g., under sinks, behind furniture).
- Noise from cleaning machinery (hearing protection provided when necessary).

Schedule
Monday to Friday, with shifts available:
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
