CooperSurgical is a leading fertility and women’s healthcare company dedicated to putting time on the side of women, babies, and families. As a division of CooperCompanies, the company supports patients throughout their lifetimes with over 600 clinically relevant medical devices, assisted reproductive technology, and genomic testing solutions. This part‑time, on‑site position in North Tonawanda, NY supports general housekeeping in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 standards.

Responsibilities

• Disinfecting surfaces, including desktops and shelves.
• Cleaning wood furniture, mopping tile flooring, vacuuming carpet and rugs.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools.
• Cleaning cleaning equipment after use and storing it orderly and safely.
• Emptying and cleaning trash and recycling containers.
• Reporting any damage or repair required to furniture or the facility.
• Providing support and working with other team members.
• Keeping assigned areas clean and tidy.
• Collaborating at coffee stations with supply and cleaning.
• Cleaning exterior areas as needed.
• Completing cleaning documentation per plant standards.
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering as needed.
• Awareness of safety procedures.
• Multitasking and organizational skills to keep track of various responsibilities.
• Ability to carry out tasks in a timely fashion with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read labels and instructions for the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift loads up to 40 lb, perform demanding physical activities, be in constant movement, go up and down stairs.
• Ability to carry out various tasks and complete them in the time defined by the supervisor.
• Good communication and reliability.
• Flexible schedule when required.
• Language skills: proficient in reading and writing in English.
• Work environment: production, warehouse, office, and cafeteria type settings; may require wearing PPE such as gloves, gown, mask, and hairnet when required.
• Minimum of 1 year previous experience in similar positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay

The base pay for this role is $20.00 per hour. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future.

Schedule

This is a part‑time position, Monday – Friday 10AM‑2PM EST work schedule.
