Schedule

Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Pay

$21.0879–$29.6730 per hour

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize city buildings and facilities, including offices, museums, recreation halls, water treatment plants, and secured law enforcement facilities
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
• Identify and report maintenance issues that require attention
• Work independently and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Help create a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and the public

Requirements

• One year of custodial experience in a public or private sector environment
• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade, GED, or higher level degree
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California driver's license by date of appointment
• Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive Police Department background check (some positions require clearance within 12 months of appointment)
