About the role
The Part-Time Custodian maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment within assigned facilities. Duties include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas.
Responsibilities
- Dusting / vacuuming carpets, mats, and rugs
- Sweeping and mopping of floors
- Office trash collection
- Thorough cleaning of all bathrooms / locker rooms
- Keeping the exterior of the building clean which may include shoveling/snow removal, leaf clean up, etc.
- Performing all duties assigned
Requirements
- A High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- A valid PA Class C driver’s license is preferred.
- At least five (5) years of custodial or janitorial experience is preferred.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and handle the physical demands of the job.
