Custodian

About the role

The Part-Time Custodian maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment within assigned facilities. Duties include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Dusting / vacuuming carpets, mats, and rugs
• Sweeping and mopping of floors
• Office trash collection
• Thorough cleaning of all bathrooms / locker rooms
• Keeping the exterior of the building clean which may include shoveling/snow removal, leaf clean up, etc.
• Performing all duties assigned

Requirements

• A High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• A valid PA Class C driver’s license is preferred.
• At least five (5) years of custodial or janitorial experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and handle the physical demands of the job.
