Fairglen Elementary School, 201 Indian Trail, Cocoa – 12-month classified position (7 hours/day).
Pay
$15.85 per hour (Grade 15 on the Classified pay plan).
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain custodial equipment.
- Perform indoor and outdoor cleaning, moving between pods and locations.
- Engage in frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and tasks requiring finger dexterity, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance equipment used on the job.
- Pass a physical abilities test.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License.
Physical Demands
- Heavy Work: exerting 50–100 pounds of force occasionally, 25–50 pounds frequently, and/or 10–20 pounds constantly to move objects.
Work Environment
- Intermittent light machinery noise and activity level.
- Primarily indoor office environment with frequent indoor/outdoor movement.
