Custodian

Essential Functions

• Perform cleaning functions specific to the facility and based on project requirements.
• Responsible for interior / exterior painting.
• Light carpentry and cosmetic upkeep to ensure the buildings are clean, safe, and visually presentable.
• Perform limited grounds maintenance.
• Operate mobile equipment and aerial work platforms to perform assigned duties.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and powered equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
• May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Skills And Abilities

• Must pass a background check.
• Stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understand written and verbal instructions.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Must be willing and available to work overtime, as needed.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.

Pay

Competitive wages, pay increases every 6 months, benefits 1st day, sign on / referral bonuses.
