Custodian - 2nd Shift

The Ellsworth School Department has a 2nd shift Custodian Vacancy.

About the role

This is a Full time position with benefits, including health insurance, 2 weeks vacation, sick time, 12 Holidays, retirement and differential pay.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school grounds and facilities in a clean and safe condition.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Assist with janitorial duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Maine driver's license.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial work preferred.
• Knowledge of custodial equipment and supplies.

Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
