About the Role
The Custodian at Cook Spencer is responsible for maintaining a clean building and working environment.
Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and carry out written and oral instructions
- Trash removal
- Sweep and mop floors
- Clean walls
- Dust various surfaces
- Deep clean work stations
- Provide legible and accurate documentation
- Complete quality work at acceptable department-determined rates
- Commit to a minimum 40-hour work week
- Work effectively with limited supervision
- Work closely with co-workers
- Work with chemicals such as cleaners and isopropyl alcohol
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
Schedule
5:30 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday–Friday
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 10 pounds continuously and up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Frequent repetitive motion
- Good eyesight, hand dexterity, and attention to detail
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, carry, feel or touch; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch; communicate
- Proper attire/clothing and Personal Protective Equipment/clothing, as required, within Controlled Production Areas
