About the Role

We’re looking for a Full-Time Custodian to provide custodial services at our Distribution Center in Kansas City. This is a 2nd shift position (Mon-Thurs, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM) at a non-smoking campus.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum carpeted floors and floor mats using an industrial vacuum.
• Clean cement floors using an industrial floor scrubbing machine.
• Sweep, mop, and dust all areas of the building, including shipping, manufacturing, and warehouse spaces.
• Remove all trash from the building and deposit it into the receptacle.
• Clean restrooms by sweeping and mopping floors, disinfecting urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, and mirrors.
• Clean break rooms by sweeping floors, disinfecting tables, chairs, counters, walls, windows, and other surfaces.
• Remove refuse from the grounds around the building, including sweeping sidewalks, picking up trash, and emptying garbage cans and ash buckets.
• Stock break rooms with supplies and prepare coffee and hot chocolate machines for use.
• Clean windows inside and outside the facility using a scissor lift or man lift.
• Clean hard-to-reach areas overhead and under equipment, including racks and windows.
• Clean offices, including desks, chairs, carpet, and chair mats.
• Clean lobby areas, including mezzanine and observatory windows.
• Ensure the building is in “Tour Ready” condition at all times.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Capability to walk, stretch, and lift for the duration of the shift.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.

Pay

$17.50/hour + $1.00/hour shift differential = $18.50/hour.

Schedule

2nd shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM.
