Job Duties And Other Information

• Responsible for: Cleaning restrooms, offices, classrooms, stairwells, hallways, and other assigned areas, which include but not limited to; sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting and polishing ;mixing and or blending chemicals.
• Empties trash, sanitizes restrooms periodically throughout the day in administrative and academic areas.
• Operates assigned cleaning equipment based on the job to be done. This equipment may include but not limited to wet/dry vacuums, carpet extractors, restroom cleaning machine, floor polishers, floor cleaners and other equipment assigned and instructed by supervisor.
• Required to attend scheduled monthly safety meetings, training of new equipment, etc.
• Locks/unlocks doors, turns off lights in areas within the building based on assigned rooms, reports lost or stolen keys immediately based on the type of keys assigned; must report lost or stolen keys to Campus Police, Supervisor, and Key Control.
