Custodial Technician

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all indoor and outdoor facility areas.
• Vacuum designated areas and sweep, mop, or scrub floors; operate floor scrubber as needed.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, including windows, walls, tables, countertops, and cameras.
• Disinfect and restock bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, dispensers, towels, and soap.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including refrigerators, microwaves, floors, and surfaces.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies for bathrooms and storage closets.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly throughout the facility.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Facilities Manager.
• Assist with physical tasks and special projects as assigned.
• Adhere to all company health, safety, and sanitation policies.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of standard custodial procedures and cleaning practices.
• Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning chemicals.
• Understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and chemical handling.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand for extended periods and use hands and fingers.
• Frequent walking, with occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $17.50
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• Benefits: 401(k) offered after 2 months of employment, Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment, Vacation and sick time available after 3 months of employment.
