Custodial Supervisor - FACILITIES MAINTENANCE

About the role

The Custodial Supervisor supervises the contracted custodial vendor and participates in the performance of cleaning multiple County buildings, ensuring they are clean, safe, and reflect a professional atmosphere. The role also involves maintaining appropriate levels of custodial supplies for both the vendor and County staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the contracted custodial vendors and coordinates with them on all planned activities.
• Coordinates monthly meetings with stakeholders.
• Assesses the quality of vendor's services.
• Tracks inventory of supplies and purchases supplies for various County facilities.
• Maintains accurate documentation of supplies usage.
• Investigates new products for better pricing and effectiveness.
• Supervises one part-time employee and custodial contractors.
• Performs daily inspections of facilities for cleanliness.
• Initiates cleaning tasks needing to be performed by vendor.
• Personally cleans high security areas where vendors are not allowed.
• i.e., Sheriffs Judicial.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Valid US driver’s license without restrictions.
• Current proof of automobile insurance.
