Custodial Supervisor

About the role

The Custodial Supervisor will oversee the cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas, ensuring compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations. They will train and instruct employees, conduct inspections, and address any issues or complaints.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise custodial staff
• Train and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures
• Ensure custodial services meet site needs
• Ensure custodial personnel have necessary equipment and supplies
• Conduct regular quality, service, and safety inspections
• Evaluate and recommend new custodial supplies and equipment
• Inspect contractor services and report findings
• Report accidents and incidents to supervisor
• Address employee personnel and customer issues
• Communicate with supervisor on areas needing improvement
• Monitor employee use of personal protective equipment and supplies
• Provide recommendations for corrective action
• Review and maintain employee records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent combination of education, technical training, professional certifications, and experience leading facilities, operations, janitorial, manufacturing, or service teams
• Valid driver’s license required

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and sanitation standards
• Proficiency in managing employee training and development
• Experience with facility maintenance and inspection

$58,000 annually
