Supervisory Duties
- Supervises the daily work activities of assigned Support Service technicians and Assistant Custodians.
- Evaluates and Prepares recommendations regarding special projects or activities that may be handled by the Support Service crew.
- Inspects daily work performed by each crew technician and is responsible for each technician's performance appraisal.
Training and Development
- Directly responsible for the training, usage, maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and materials assigned.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Ability to make independent decisions and instigate required action.
- Available to work as the needs of the job dictate, including weekends, evenings or required overtime.
- Familiar with various mechanical systems, maintenance and minor repair techniques.
- Good communication skills and motivation ability.

Typical Qualifications
- Supervisor experience involving planning, instigating and evaluating assigned employees.
Licenses
- 3rd Grade Boiler's License required.
- Current Fire Extinguisher license required.

Hourly staff accrue sick leave at the rate of 1:40 per the Washington Paid Sick Leave law; eligible for health benefits after 630 hours under conditions of the School Employees Benefits Board through the state of Washington.
