Custodial Services - Support Service Lead

Supervisory Duties

• Supervises the daily work activities of assigned Support Service technicians and Assistant Custodians.
• Evaluates and Prepares recommendations regarding special projects or activities that may be handled by the Support Service crew.
• Inspects daily work performed by each crew technician and is responsible for each technician's performance appraisal.

Training and Development

• Directly responsible for the training, usage, maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and materials assigned.
• Performs related work as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Ability to make independent decisions and instigate required action.
• Available to work as the needs of the job dictate, including weekends, evenings or required overtime.
• Familiar with various mechanical systems, maintenance and minor repair techniques.
• Good communication skills and motivation ability.

Typical Qualifications

• Supervisor experience involving planning, instigating and evaluating assigned employees.

Licenses

• 3rd Grade Boiler's License required.
• Current Fire Extinguisher license required.
