About the role

Clean and maintain the plant facility (office, production, and general areas) to ensure a safe and clean environment, meet cleanliness standards, and support the facility's highest operational level.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, or scrubbing (operate a ride-on and/or autonomous floor scrubber).
• Collect and discard all waste from containers and segregate recyclable paper and cardboard from across the facility.
• Oversee operation of cardboard compactor and maintain cleanliness of compactor area.
• Service, clean, sanitize, and supply restrooms with paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
• Clean and maintain stairways to stockrooms and training rooms.
• Adjust duties to meet the facility’s cleaning needs, prioritizing immediate requests.
• Follow directions, perform assigned tasks, and be self-directed.
• Respond to customer requests and report maintenance problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently while keeping work areas neat and obstruction-free.
• Monitor processes, complete assignments, and work cooperatively with others.
• Follow plant and department safety rules and practices.
• Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Pay

The starting rate of pay for this position is $18.50, with the potential to reach $20.00. This range represents a good-faith estimate and may vary based on factors such as relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
