Custodial Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of janitorial staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and training as needed.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained according to client specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to assess cleanliness, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
- Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that adequate resources are available to complete all cleaning tasks.
- Respond to client requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, addressing any concerns or issues related to janitorial services.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports, including work orders, inspection logs, and employee schedules.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality control measures, to promote a safe and productive work environment.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, motivating and empowering janitorial staff to achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in janitorial services or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial supervision, with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with employees, clients, and management.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to janitorial work, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software for recordkeeping and reporting purposes.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
