Crestview Middle School is seeking a Lead Custodian.

About the role

The Lead Custodian will be responsible for supervising and managing the day-to-day operations of the custodial staff at Crestview Middle School. They will ensure that all school facilities are clean, safe, and in good condition.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the custodial staff
• Ensure all school facilities are clean, safe, and in good condition
• Oversee cleaning schedules and procedures
• Assist with maintenance tasks as needed
• Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of custodial experience
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Skills

• Knowledge of custodial equipment and supplies
• Experience with cleaning chemicals and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
