Custodial Associate (Regular Full-time)

About the role

The Custodial Associate will maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in Le Jardin Academy's facilities. This role includes various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure buildings are well-kept for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, lockers, breakroom, concession areas, and other assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces.
• Absorb and respond to reactive calls for cleaning and sanitation.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work in classrooms, gymnasiums, offices, and restrooms, as well as outdoor spaces in courtyards and around buildings.
• Assist with event setups and breakdowns for meetings and special events.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year related experience preferred.
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred.

• Work independently and frequently without direct supervision.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Ability to drive golf cart and motor vehicle.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm including some Saturdays, holidays, evenings, and overtime.
