Position Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of IPS Adhesives facilities including sanitizing, vacuuming and mopping floors, and collecting trash to ensure associates have a clean work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sanitize surfaces and bathrooms
- Restock paper and soap supplies
- Empty trash receptacles, dispose trash into dumpsters, and bag trash for proper disposal
- Clean floors including mopping and vacuuming
- Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
Previous custodial/housekeeping experience preferred
Work Conditions and Physical Effort
Considerable physical activity; lifting, pushing, mopping, and vacuuming
Work environment involves some exposure to cleaning chemicals, which require following basic safety precautions.
