About the role
Sportsman Boats is seeking dedicated, hardworking Cushion Assembly Coverers to join their Upholstery department.
Responsibilities
- Stuff and fit cushions following patterns
- Staple and secure fabric to framework
- Inspect cushions for defects, damage, or stains
- Compare physical characteristics of materials or products to specifications or standards
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to stand and work with your hands for 5+ hours/day
- Ability to lift cushions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail oriented, proactive, and able to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Advanced verbal communication skills
- Advanced time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred Education and Experience: Experience with manual assembly, Bilingual Spanish/English
