Curriculum Support Specialist
About the role
The Princeton University Art Museum seeks an exceptional Curriculum Support Specialist to assist with researching and teaching. Based within the Education Department, the Specialist assists with researching and teaching with the Museum collections. With opportunities to teach in the Museum galleries and study rooms, the Specialist will also provide a light review of interpretive materials.
Responsibilities
Assist with researching the collections and developing teaching resources.
Using the teaching reservation system, collaborate with the Museum’s Venue Manager and Collections Associates to coordinate logistics of teaching and reservations in the Museum, including in the galleries and study rooms.
Have the opportunity to teach with the collections for Princeton University classes and other academic audiences.
Have the opportunity to review interpretive texts.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Art History required.
1-2 years of experience teaching at the academic level.
Excellent research and writing skills.
Capacity to engage audiences with a range of interests and abilities.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with a team.
Proficiency with software and digital platforms.
