Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assists with curriculum development and design of training materials.
  • Researches and applies course design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Affixes content and format for courses, conferences, and other training events.
  • Develops and revises training manuals, trainer guides, and other support materials for courses.
  • Collaborates with customers and project teams on promotional materials, course design, and program content and methodologies.
  • Tracks curriculum through all stages of development, revision, production, release, and promotion.

Skills

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with staff and partners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to format, edit, and present content in a clear and engaging way.
  • Proficiency with computer applications and research tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field.
  • Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.

Department Preferences

  • Experience developing or supporting training materials, curriculum, or instructional content for adult learners.
  • Experience collaborating with subject matter experts, project teams, or stakeholders to develop program content.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and competing priorities.
  • Experience supporting trainings, conferences, or learning events (in-person or virtual).
  • Experience observing, coaching, or supporting trainers to ensure fidelity and quality of curriculum delivery.
  • Ability to design learner-driven discussion prompts and guided questions that promote engagement, reflection, and dialogue.
  • Experience integrating experiential learning principles into curriculum design, instructional strategies, and facilitator guides.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
  • Experience working with children, youth, and families or within human services systems.
