Responsibilities
- Support Tier II and III instruction, teacher training, and instructional coaching in the District's intervention programming.
- Support the implementation of the District's academic intervention strategy by providing teachers, lead teachers, Academic Interventionists, and school-based staff training on the District's standards-based curricula, aligned with the Vision of Excellent Instruction and Tactical Improvement Plan (TIP) goals.
- Develop implementation tools and guidance.
- Partner with Instructional Leadership Teams (ILTs).
- Cook up the coordination of implementation of the District's K-8 Mathematics Intervention and grades 6-8 Mathematics Virtual Tutoring programs.
- Communicate progress to the School Support Team (SST).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Valid Michigan Teacher Certificate in related content area highly preferred.
- Valid State of Michigan Administrator Certificate highly preferred.
- Minimum five years of successful teaching experience.
- Proven experience with teacher development, training, and curriculum development.
