Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging, instructionally sound training materials and content for virtual, in-person, and self-paced learning, tailored to the unique needs of different learning groups.
- Create structured learning pathways, modules, and assessments aligned with business objectives and learner needs.
- Develop learning objectives and ensure alignment with content and assessment strategies to reinforce learning and test for knowledge retention.
- Maintain consistency, clarity, and quality across all training materials using style guides and content standards.
- Collaborate with the Process Improvement Analyst, trainers, and operational teams to implement training programs that support new processes, systems, and service models.
- Train and support trainers in delivering newly developed content to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
- Conduct “train-the-trainer” sessions and develop facilitator guides, teaching aids, and procedural manuals.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning priorities.
- Use learner feedback, performance data, and evaluation tools to assess training effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.
- Benchmark training metrics and monitor completion rates, knowledge retention, and performance outcomes.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure training content meets operational requirements and learner expectations.
- Provide consultative support to leaders and teams on training strategies and learning solutions.
- Support the planning and delivery of learning activities across departments and functions.
- Stay current with best practices in instructional design, curriculum development, and digital learning technologies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance training delivery through innovation and emerging tools.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the organization’s overall learning strategy.
- Develop and maintain curriculum documentation, including content guidelines, glossaries, and reference libraries.
- Ensure all training materials are up to date, accessible, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.
- Five years of experience in curriculum design and development.
- Three years of experience in training facilitators, trainers, and/or teachers.
- Familiarity with human service, workforce development, vocational rehabilitation, and disability issues and service competencies.
