Curbside Shopper Part Time

About the Role

Responsible for performing general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from sales floor to staging area, using handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations, and operating equipment. The Omni Experience Ambassador will work within all digital initiatives including: BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club.

Responsibilities

• Processes member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner by pulling merchandise from a pick list.
• Utilizes a handheld scanner device (RF) to pick orders from the sales floor and verify merchandise.
• Moves merchandise from sales floor to staging area.
• Communicates problems with inventory and/or equipment, including expired or short-dated items on pick list.
• Communicates with club team when merchandise needs to be replenished and works with team to pull merchandise from reserve area to avoid sales floor replenishment.
• Ensures all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet productivity requirements and key performance indicators.
• Follows operational efficiencies, processes, and productivity standards with adherence to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Securely packages orders in accordance with standard operating procedures and ensures the Ship from Club (SFC) area is neat, clean, and organized.
• Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area.
• Handles damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Processes returns to the club and determines appropriate handling (via DDR or Membership desk).
• Maintains all club policies and procedures, including adhering to proper dress code standards.
• Meets OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Delivers service excellence through all points of contact and resolves or de-escalates member concerns.
• Ensures a safe and positive environment for members and team members.
• Works as a team to achieve goals, embracing inclusion and diversity with collaboration and respect.
• Understands how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department.
• Maintains a daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA).
• Works to deliver GOLD club standards daily, maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Qualifications

• Previous order pulling experience preferred.
• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.

Job Conditions

• Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces.
• Frequent positioning to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.
• Continuously requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds; may require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.
• Usually in a comfortable environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment.
• May be exposed to temperature extremes when pulling refrigerated orders.
• Occasional exposure to Company-approved cleaning agents.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Pay

In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the compensation range for this position starts from $16.25 per hour. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
