Curbside Attendant (Part-Time)
About the role
The Retail Curbside Attendant is responsible for processing curbside orders from the online platform(s) while adhering to all state compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Pulling inventory from the sales floor and entering products into the customer's sales order
- Building and setting up profiles in Leaf Logix
- Updating all steps during the process of applicable software program applications
- Creating an exceptional customer service experience with guests through education, knowledge of products, and salesmanship
- Complying with all state regulations pertaining to medical and/or retail sales
- Complying with all cash handling policies and procedures
- Reporting on all issues to management
- Maintaining cleanliness of all surfaces and register area
- Taking pride in the appearance of the store by ensuring all areas, including restrooms, are consistently clean, safe, and guest-ready
Qualifications
- Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency
- Meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agency
- Able to pass all background checks as required by state cannabis agency
- Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Able to communicate effectively with customers/caregivers and team members
- Prior customer service experience in a hospitality, pharmacy, customer services or retail environment
- Understanding and knowledge of cannabis products

Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED required
- Experience in a retail setting, cannabis a plus
Physical Requirements
- Frequent communication with customers and/or caregivers regarding medical conditions and symptoms
- Must be able to exchange accurate information about product offerings
- Frequent contact with staff, vendors and customers
- Frequent dealing with law enforcement and occasional State inspectors
- Constantly moving and transporting dispensary products/totes up to 30 lbs. throughout the dispensary
- Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand and walk as required to perform the duties associated with functioning as a dispensary agent
Working Conditions
- Work is primarily performed in a dispensary setting
- The working area may be odorous at times and loud due to fans and filtration systems, fluctuating between cold and warm temperatures
- Involves frequent contact with staff, vendors and customers
- Work may include dealing with law enforcement and occasional State inspectors
