About the Role
The successful candidate will serve as the Director of the Museum Studies Program at a leading university. This position oversees all aspects of the program, including curriculum design, faculty management, student advising, and external partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive museum studies curriculum aligned with academic standards and industry best practices.
- Manage a team of faculty members and ensure their professional development and satisfaction.
- Provide academic advisement to students enrolled in the program.
- Secure funding and resources for the program through grants, donations, and other means.

Requirements
- A PhD in Museum Studies, History, Art History, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in higher education, preferably in a museum studies program.
- Proven ability to manage a team and develop curricula.
- Experience securing external funding and managing budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to teach effectively and mentor students.
