About the role

The role is responsible for managing the museum's collections and ensuring their preservation and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the care and maintenance of the museum's collections.
• Develop and implement strategies for the preservation of artifacts and artworks.
• Collaborate with curators and other staff to ensure accurate documentation of all collections.
• Manage the storage and retrieval systems for the collections.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Art History, Museum Studies, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in museum curation or collection management.
• Experience with conservation techniques and materials.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of museum standards and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in computer software relevant to museum operations.
